Leadership Coaching

Dan has held nearly every leadership position in the academic institutional hierarchy from department chair, research center founder/director, associate dean, dean, provost and president.  His career and life experience led to an invitation to come to the United Arab Emirates to lead Zayed University with modern, state-of-the-art campuses in Dubai and the nation’s capital, Abu Dhabi.

One of Dan’s greatest accomplishments and pleasures is assisting and coaching new leaders and seasoned leaders wanting to take on greater responsibilities. His coaching gives new leaders the opportunity to learn those qualities, traits and actions that proved most successful in Dan’s leadership roles as well as those that proved least successful.

Dan has coached and mentored university leaders at all levels including university presidents.  He has mentored others in public K-12 leadership positions as well as civic leaders and public officials.
